Ben´s background is as rich and varied as the landscapes he tends. With experience spanning farming, forestry, joinery, building, hospitality and fine wine, he brings a breadth of practical knowledge and creative vision to every project that most specialists simply cannot match.

Before building Mossy Rock into the award-winning company it is today, Ben served as head gardener at Upsall Castle — one of North Yorkshire´s most prestigious private estates. It was here that his commitment to organic methods, meticulous standards and genuine client care was truly refined.

From those early days — running the business from a back room, a small compost heap and a single van — Mossy Rock has grown into a trusted name across North Yorkshire, Cleveland and County Durham.
